Updates, sewing, and Empirical Russia.

Well, I've been fairly busy over here in snowy dreary Sweeeden. It's great. Love it. Love it so much I'm going home for 3 weeks tomorrow to get the last bit of that Indian Summer before Thanksgiving. (70 and sunny-ish tomorrow when I get home. I think I might end up being arrested for ripping off my layers of clothing and running naked in the streets of Louisville.....I can't wait to look at the search engine results over the next couple of weeks and see what kind of traffic is coming to this blog.) Anywaysss-- I've been working on Sapphire's stays, and they're now ready for a fitting. I'm giving the replica whaleboning a go...so far it seems like it might be ok. We'll find out tonight when I do a quick fitting on her...

In other news, you can pop over to my 'Sweden' blog and read about my adventures in Swedish Healthcare. It's a doozy. Hope you don't mind the discussion of blood...I hate blood. I hate giving blood, and I hate seeing blood. Apparently so much, it affects me greatly. But I wrote the story with the whole hating blood issue, so it shouldn't be too bad if you are a bit sensitive.

And finally, since I'm too lazy to upload pictures of the stays, and let's be honest, they're beige. I'll post pictures later.. I did find something pretty freaking awesome on Huffington Post. Kind of along the likes of the Times pictures, but even more fabulous.
